Death

Death

Teardrops; my beloved is gone
Left no address of her new home
My heart inherits a hole - deeply drilled
Just an innocent beautiful girl
Said no bye but left my world
Fate; destiny
Faithless in the missing theory
Brain froze; missing flight: MH Three-seventy
Here alone, I am bereft

Oh! Death, adored is thy absence
Thy presence shortens life’s existence
When and how shall thou both coexist?
Because of thee, at hearts’ doors pain creeps

Thou had taken many loved ones
Thou warn not of thy coming times
Careless of age, sex, beliefs, race
Art thou perhaps a vehicle to a new place?
If not a just curse?
For thy coming trembles all

When unwanted, thou appear
When needed, thou disappear
Where is thy throne and kingdom?
Where art those thou had taken?
Are they in prison or enjoying freedom?
Tell; please tell so we be obedient

Through natural disasters, technical failures: accidents
Many, many, many have gone
Just a thought of thy existence threatens and concerns
Everyone, everything awaits its turn
One by one, thou swallow as if counting every breath
No escape! This life is a timed death

Melt, evaporate, disappear if thou might
For over thee, even Hercules had no victory
Let in thee, all find clemency
Show mercy, mercy, mercy
Give thou a chance, time to life
In time, all find delight

Hand our loved ones to life
Let it bring them back to us
Without them, days are dark – too dark to see
Something has got to give
Something has to change
